Over a hundred years after the birth of the great violinist Sándor Végh, the tenth season of the Cervo Chamber Music festival will take place in the beautiful town of Cervo.

In addition to founding the celebrated International Chamber Music Festival Cervo in 1964, Sándor Végh also initiated a chamber music seminar in 1975 in Cornwall, England.
During this seminar, international musicians of the highest level come together with the most promising young artists from around the world to sustain Sándor Végh’s original idea of passing on the love for chamber music to the next generation. The young Dutch cellist Karel Bredenhorst is one of those lucky few, and with his colleagues and friends from Cornwall he will bring the spirit of Sándor Végh's musical heritage to Liguria again this summer.

Presenting a concert at the lovely Santuario di Santa Croce al Calvario, Imperia, and 3 concerts at the Oratorio di Santa Caterina in Cervo, the legacy of Sándor Végh will continue in the very town where Sándor started his dream.
